Going once, going twice --- Ah yes, the friendly sounds of the famous silent and live auctions at the NH Governor’s Conference to be held May 5 and 6, 2009 at the Waterville Valley Resort. Did you know these auctions are the Travel Council’s only fundraiser?
Without the generous donations from our members and support services, we would not have the funds to provide nationally known speakers so you can take advantage of the newest trends in travel. Understanding the current challenges facing the tourism industry, we all realize that now more than ever, we need to capitalize on opportunities, stay competitive and remain on the leading edge when it comes to attracting visitors to our beautiful state. Donating is a great way to be a part of the solution – and attracting new customers to your business at the same time.
We are asking that donations be in the form of a gift certificate (noting all restrictions). However, we would be pleased to display a brochure or (small size) photo to illustrate your product/service/location at the auction table. We will gladly accept all donations offered, but have found that certificates provide better security and ease for the winners in getting their prized auction items home!
