The final skier visit numbers have been tallied for the 2006-2007 ski season, which was considered a challenging winter for New Hampshire's alpine and Nordic ski areas. New Hampshire's alpine ski areas hosted a total of 1,960,251 skier visits during the 06/07 season. That number is 3% less than 05/06 winter business levels. Although total business levels dropped, most New Hampshire ski are managers are satisfied, given the slow start to the 06/07 winter and the fact that the Northeast region as a whole was down 6.7% from last year's levels.
