Since 1981, the New Hampshire Travel Council has recognized and acknowledged those individuals and businesses in the travel and tourism industry that have shown dedication and excellence. Sponsored annually by the Travel Council, the awards program publicly recognizes and honors businesses and individuals for their significant impact on New Hampshire's travel and tourism industry. The NHTC invites you to nominate your co-worker or business.
There are six different award categories:
- Dick Hamilton Lifetime Achievement Award
- Mildred Beach Travel Person of the Year Award
- Media Award
- Business Excellence Award
- Advertising and Public Relations Award
- Sustainable Business Award

The 32nd Annual Governor's Conference on Tourism, to be held May 5 - 7 at the Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, will be the event to attend for our industry this year. For the first time, the conference's program is the result of a collaborative effort of a diverse group of state-wide, tourism-oriented associations including the Travel Council, Lodging & Restaurant Association, and Ski New Hampshire, in addition to the NH Travel & Tourism Advisory Committee, the NH Division of Travel & Tourism, and the Governor's Office.
